Thank you for visiting my little food travel blog.
Betsubara 別腹 literally means ‘separate stomach’ in Japanese. It’s used to describe a separate stomach for dessert, i.e. always room for dessert. Even though incorrect, I’m using it to mean how I “always” have room for more. I apologize if you came here thinking this is a dessert blog. I eat dessert ocassionally. =P
Like most of you, I love eating. Eighty percent of my pictures on my phone are food pictures. I love traveling and trying new places to eat. So I decided I might as well try to share the places I’ve eaten with you.
I’ve been busy with work and don’t travel as much as I used to. But when I do get to travel, I make sure to enjoy good food. I hope to share with you some of my food adventures. Along with some tips and thoughts about food, travel and budgeting, festivals and photo spots, work and teaching English, etc.
If you’re interested in what I’m eating for lunch, I have a Tumblr blog about my (school) lunches.
